Scoliosis Bracing

Our Adelaide scoliosis clinic in South Australia offers a unique bracing system that creates fully customised spinal braces for patients with scoliosis and kyphosis.

To achieve a truly custom fit and 3D approach, patients are scanned with a lightweight, hi-tech 3D scanner and a scoliosis scanning App created by ScoliCare. A custom 3D brace, based on measurements accurate to the millimeter, is then crafted by our experienced design team.

Our unique bracing system offers treatment solutions for a wide range of curve sizes, ages and conditions. Bracing options include:

  • Infants and young children with scoliosis
  • Adolescents with scoliosis
  • Night time only bracing for small curves
  • Adults with scoliosis originating in adolescence or developing later in life (De Novo scoliosis)

Scoliosis Exercise

Scoliosis specific exercise programs can play an important role to:

  • Slow down curve progression
  • Improve muscular balance and spinal mobility
  • Improve posture and appearance
  • Help with pain relief
  • Increase vital capacity

These specific exercise programs can help to stop small scoliosis curves from progressing, and in larger curves it can be used as an important adjunct to bracing for best results.

ScoliCare Clinicians are trained in advanced, internationally recognised exercise techniques including “SEAS” and “Schroth”, and they are active in research and lecturing to other health professionals on the topic of scoliosis treatments.

Our Clinicians are extensively trained with postgraduate studies in
world-leading scoliosis treatment methods
