Scoliosis Clinician (Full time)

ScoliCare is offering a rare opportunity for an exceptional Chiropractor to move from general
chiropractic practice to exclusively become a Scoliosis Clinician with the team at
Australia’s leading non-surgical scoliosis treatment group.

ScoliCare is an Australian company dedicated to pioneering and delivering better scoliosis treatment for children and adults through a commitment to innovation, best practices, highest standards of patient care, and ongoing research and education.

ScoliCare offers a vibrant and progressive team environment in a growing organisation. We value hard work and dedication.

ScoliCare clinicians provide expert advice to patients on non-surgical treatment options for scoliosis including: scoliosis bracing, scoliosis specific rehabilitation, referral for co-management and surgery, and are also required to use their hands-on skills to fit and manage custom scoliosis braces.

Travel Interstate will be required on a regular basis to attend clinics and other events such as seminars, courses and presenting at Scoliosis related events. These events may be during the week, evening or on weekends, therefore a flexible approach to work is needed.

Intensive training will be provided to ensure the highest standards of scoliosis management, including scoliosis rehabilitation methods and bracing.

The initial training and apprenticeship period will be based in the Sydney Clinic with ongoing opportunities in various interstate locations after this time.

This role requires an exceptional candidate who has passion, drive, stamina and confidence along with the willingness to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

We require our Scoliosis Clinicians to create their own profile by networking with other Practitioners who are our key source of referrals; by attending and speaking at relevant seminars and other events; by creating opportunities using their own initiative, all with the view to positioning themselves as a leading Scoliosis Clinician in Australia. Confidence and experience in public speaking is a key component of this role.

Our unique scoliosis bracing system requires our Clinicians to become skilled in fitting and modifying the braces using power tools, therefore confidence in tool use will be essential.

The successful candidate needs to have exceptional strength of character and work ethic; have a minimum 5 years clinical experience preferably not only as a sole practitioner; current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain AHPRA registration) without restriction, and will undergo working with children and criminal checks.

Previous training in scoliosis specific rehabilitation and/or scoliosis bracing techniques would be an advantage.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an exceptional, clinically skilled team player.
